AVEL Signs the Promilès Charter
On June 26, AVEL had the honour of signing the Promilès Charter, in the presence of Colonel ULM, Departmental Military Delegate, his deputy, as well as representatives from the 1st Marine Infantry Regiment (1er RIMa), the 515th Transport Regiment, the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA), and the Human Resources Department of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces.

By signing the Charter, AVEL joins a national initiative dedicated to strengthening the relationship between the business community and the Armed Forces. The Promilès Charter brings together companies committed to supporting the professional integration of military personnel, assisting wounded service members in their return to employment, recognising the commitment of military reservists, and supporting military spouses, whose careers are often affected by the demands of military mobility. It also promotes closer collaboration with local military units to build lasting partnerships and raise awareness of the careers, missions, and realities of military life.

This commitment naturally reflects the values upheld by AVEL and builds on an existing reality within the company. Today, nearly one in ten employees has a connection to the military, whether as former active-duty service members, operational reservists, individuals who have completed military preparatory training, or former conscripts. These backgrounds are represented throughout the organisation, from apprentices to senior management.

This diversity is a real strength. The qualities developed through military experience—including commitment, a strong sense of responsibility, adaptability, teamwork, and discipline—are highly valuable in the business world and make a meaningful contribution to AVEL's continued development.

Signing the Promilès Charter marks an important new step in this commitment. It paves the way for future projects aimed at strengthening relationships with local military units and developing joint initiatives based on shared values.
This commitment also aligns with our ALMA FRC collection, which celebrates the history of France and its Armed Forces through military decorations and decorative objects inspired by French heritage. Through this collection, we aim to help preserve and pass on this heritage while creating new connections between the military and civilian worlds.

We are proud to join this initiative and, in our own way, contribute to strengthening the ties between the Armed Forces and the business community. Several exciting projects are already underway, and we look forward to sharing them with you soon.
