Can I return an item?

Absolutely. As stated in our Terms and Conditions (see excerpt below), AVEL extends the cancellation period to 6 months, provided that the products are in a resalable condition. 

How to return a product?

Self-serve returns

You can arrange a self-serve return through the customer account portal. Here you can request a return and include details regarding the return. To start the self-serve return process log into, or setup a customer account - CLICK HERE to access the customer portal. Please note exchanges can not be requested through self-managed returns. Unless AVEL is at fault, returns are at the customer's expense, using any method they prefer. Include the preparation slip you received in your package with your return. Check off the items you wish to return on this slip. Ship the package to our warehouse address:

To make it easier for you, AVEL can send you a link via email to print a Mondial Relay return label and find a nearby store to drop off your package. The cost of this return, as charged by the carrier, will be deducted from the refund amount owed to you. Mondial Relay offers very competitive prices as it does not own infrastructure and works with local providers. The return period is approximately 15 days.

How to get a refund?

Once the products are back in AVEL's possession, you will be refunded within 48 business hours. The timeframe may be longer during school holidays.

Article 12 - Legal Withdrawal

The consumer client has a legal right of withdrawal of 14 days (article L221-18 and following of the Consumer Code) from the receipt of the order.

To ensure maximum customer satisfaction, AVEL extends this period to 6 months from the shipping date for order cancellation by the client. Therefore, it is unnecessary to notify AVEL of this return, although it can be done by email referencing the order number concerned.

For the return of products corresponding to all or part of an order within the 14-day period, the full amount paid by the client for the delivery of these products will be refunded. Beyond these 14 days, the shipping costs incurred by AVEL for delivery (paid or not by the client depending on whether they were offered or not) and any payment fees imposed by PayPal will be deducted from the refunded amount. Thus, the free shipping costs offered for orders over a certain amount will be deducted from the refunded amount if the recalculated order amount falls below the free shipping threshold on our site.

This right is subject to the return of new, complete products, with documents and accessories, in their original packaging, without having to justify reasons. It is excluded for special orders made according to the customer's specifications.

Beyond the legal limit of 14 days, the return and refund of products are not possible for products that have been discontinued or have expired. Similarly, beyond the legal limit of 14 days, the expiration date of any product returned for a refund must be at least 6 months after the return date. Withdrawal is also not possible for products made to the customer's specifications or custom-made.
